After my experiments with APFS cloning, I made a Quick Action shortcut for Finder that’s much faster than Duplicate or “cp -c -R”, both of which clone files individually instead of the whole tree in one go.

I'm beta testing the ability to sync folders in the Files app/Finder with a folder on S3. Could even be used for backup if you enable versioning on the bucket.
Help me test it and let me know how it could better fit your needs.
My trusty iPhone 13 Mini doesn’t have on-device models forcing me to add support for server-side models.
Even got ollama to handle tool-calling with gpt-oss after increasing the context size.

Couldn't stop myself from wiring up the on-device Apple Intelligence model with tool-calling.
It gets confused quickly as context grows and I don't expect this to land in the App Store version anytime soon, but it does sort of work - with all the usual caveats of LLM unreliability.

Added MCP support to the Mac-version of my S3 app 10 months ago after being disappointed with Apple Intelligence delays.
This allows natural language automation from Claude Desktop and other LLMs.
It has seen almost zero usage but this week it looks like it got the first user.
My S3 and FTP transfer apps have seen major improvements the last few weeks making them less dependent on the Finder/Files app.
Edit from within the app, progressively stream media and jump to favourite folders.
