First, this community. If there was ever any doubt, Memos from Lofwyr unequivocally rejects misogyny, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fascism, religious bigotry (both ways) and anything that punches down. Differing political opinions are welcome, so long as they are *political* opinions. We can agree to disagree on tax policy, but if you are oh, say, an antisemite you can frag right off. This is a place of community.

Second, these are the times Shadowrun has been training us for. When I started playing at 14, I was playing out personal fantasies. (What if I was tough? What if I was confident?) After a couple decades, I see the game a little differently. Neo-Anarchists don’t live for vandalism, they live for delivering food to the homeless. The Humanis Policlub aren’t faceless goons, they are the establishment. Lofwyr isn’t any more ridiculous a concept as a Musk (although admittedly much smarter).

In Shadowrun, you play a character that sees through the drek and does something about it. It’s time to bring that energy NONVIOLENTLY to the Fifth World if you haven’t already. The situation at the top is bad, no doubt, but there is no shortage of opportunities to help people and the planet directly. If they want to build a corporate dystopia, well, fraggers, *we know how to play that game!*

What are the needs of your community? Is there no fresh milk at the local shelter? Buy them some. Want to limit CO2? Make some backyard biochar. Become a walking safe space. Vote with your nuyen. Plant moss everywhere. Feed the animals. Don’t wait for the cavalry, because it ain’t coming, but what is coming is radical solidarity.
