Folks, if you're being pressured to forgive an abuser and reestablish a relationship (whether it's with a parent, former partner, a sibling, whatever), please remember:

Forgiveness without accountability is called "enabling".

The white, wealthy elite do not see Trump and Republicans as a threat to their money and power and in fact, are likely to enjoy expansive benefits from GOP rule, at least in the short term.

Furthermore, they will support or at least turn a blind eye to reactionary-fascist attacks on poor and marginalized people in order to suppress a political and cultural insurgency from their left flank.

Fear of fascism is a great opportunity for them to fundraise and play both sides in the meantime.
