@tess that’s a little to censorious for comfort. She’s hardly “lending credence” to anyone since they already have it, and lots of it, and often use it as a hammer on whomever and whatever whenever. You have to acknowledge if you plan to confront, and I’m all for confrontation.

@taylorlorenz if they’ll be working directly with training the AI, then that is a problem. You do want a diverse array of view points balancing each other off injected into its “pre-existing” knowledge. As long the view points are NOT pro the restriction of any one group’s rights or are pro violence *shrugs* - it should be introduced. What other way is there to capture objective truth than to have every opinion about one thing in one room?

I’ve interacted with AI who weren’t misogynistic, actually. And is it stealing if the content is free? Granted, some of the content is probably not free, but only some. So to be accurate, they’re trained on half-stolen internet content.
