New to the platform so I intend to mostly lurk until I figure out the cultural norms of the service as well as the inner workings. Obviously migrating from TwitMusk service. Opened that account back in early 2009 and grew to really enjoy engaging with mostly great people. I am hoping to find them over here. I downloaded my data from TwitMusk but it doesn’t seem that I can import it onto this service. The data is apparently n both JSON and HTML. I see that I can import CSV files. Will work on it.
@georgetakei It was not ever not being said out loud. Project 2025 spelled it out clearly. Despite election cycle distancing by campaign advisers, given his fundamental nature once elected this was the inevitable consequence. Anyone surprised simply wasn’t interested.

Robert ReichSo let me get this straight: The so-called "originalists" on the Supreme Court have essentially given the U.S. president the power of monarchs. Just days before the 4th of July, mind you. The hypocrisy is staggering.
@rbreich I can only dissent with my vote and voice but I too dissent. In November you choose between a President or a King. It is simply that existential. If you vote for a President you can vote them out in four years. If you vote for a King (or abstain from voting) you will never get the chance to elect another President again.
