Any pundit who is criticizing Pres. Zelenskyy's attire is failing to read the room, but moreover, they're just completely missing the point.
A country and its leader under immediate and existential threats have no time for suits and neckties.
He has no visible rank or medals or nametapes or epaulets or brass buttons or starched creases. He's wearing what women and men who are fighting on the frontlines in Ukraine are wearing.
He's wearing the urgency of the moment.
That's the point.
Today, the Scottish Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of protecting trans rights. It wasn't even close. The lawmakers of Scotland actually listened to medical experts, respected science, and refused to permit hateful propaganda to dictate control of vulnerable people. 🏴❤️
Because I was asked to think about this the other day, I wanted to start keeping track of my seasonal-joy-media so I remember to watch them each year (and, y’know, while I wait for my lamp to arrive 🙃)

The amount of dipshit reply guys to someone saying they're experiencing harassment/abuse shouldn't be:
"You should find a better instance"
"You can mute, block and fediblock them"
"You're being difficult"
"You should read all the block lists for other instances and follow those"
"You should use different hashtags"
"I haven't experienced any harassment or problems and I've been here for years"
"You should create filters and a central list so everyone can find it"
"Don't complain unless you're willing to solve the problem"
Those are a few of the replies I've received, in addition to being told:
"You should be shot in the uterus"
"You should be more careful"
"You should unalive yourself"
"You should be killed"
"You're a whore"
There's a few more vile things to add to that list, but you get the idea.
My point is this, content moderation and centralized reporting is something that should be considered.
I understand it won't stop all the harassment, but it might give a better way of tracking the problems.
I am not/not volunteering to spearhead it because I already handle enough of this shit in my personal and business life.
I don't have the spoons left.
