@geewhiz common misconception: the 24hr wait is one-time. you have to do that once to enable installing from unknown sources, and then after that it is as usual.

heya, btw, SafteyNet was deprecated a while ago, and was replaced with Google Play Integrity (which is a lot harder to bypass, and requires basically stealing private key files from companies which Google has trusted with valid keyfiles in order to do so)

@cybernaumad technically the video is right, a malicious WiFi network can serve malicious network login pages. however, none of the solutions do jack shit. for example, a malicious WiFi could just broadcast the same network name. I'd just recommend never using WiFi you dont have administrative control over.
