@eaterofsnacks halfway there…

mastodon.social seems slow (probably getting most of the Twitter migration) so I created @noonjinx instead

On mastodon.social I exported my follows list

On mastdon.art I imported the list and created an alias

On mastodon.social I tried to add the redirect but it says the alias doesn’t exist

I hope it’s just a matter of waiting for the alias to propagate through the fediverse and trying again

@noonjinx is my new account

I’m going to try this “migrate to another mastodon instance” thing (just because I can)… which me luck, and I’ll try and re follow everyone when I inevitably make a mess of it!

@stupc I’m no expert, but general advice seems to be…

* If you are on a themed server (eg mastodon.art for artists) you can browse the local feed and follow the people who look interesting
* Search the federated timeline for hashtags and follow people who share your interests
* Follow lots of people so you can see the toots they boost
* Boost anything interesting so the people who follow you get the chance to see it too

Happy #Halloween everyone! 'Dusk at the wizard's keep', watercolour on illustration board. Haven't been on here in ages but here's my last piece I made before the house move! This is for my book Strangehollow (specifically second edition) and I am also working on a game with Accidental Cyclops based in my world of Strangehollow! V exciting! #MastoArt #watercolor #painting #illustration

#NowPlaying #ProgRock Islands by #KingCrimson

I’ve loved King Crimson since the 1970s. Starless and Lark’s Tongues are two of my favourite albums, but somehow I never got into this one. Giving it another try now…

@aaribaud Salut Albert. J'apprends le Français. Et de regarder une histoire simple en Français et Anglais est très bien
@kemonine @c0debabe @RadicalEdward I once had a PM who drew a seesaw with scope at one end and resources at the other (explaining how we could stick to our delivery date). I spent ages failing to explain the quality problem to him
