OK, here's the deal. This person is selling this batch of 251 issues of Computer Shopper for $3000, firm. $13/issue is a good price (even if some are rough). If we raise $3000, I will buy it and scan them all. (The CS issues will need to be split.) Venmo is @textfiles - Paypal is [email protected], will also be willing to discuss other methods of getting me cash for it. If this falls apart, I will refund everyone. $3000 is firm (I asked). We got hit with an ice storm last night. The effects were pretty dramatic. You can see the direction the wind was blowing as one side of my house is encased in ice.

We're good, no frozen pipes, etc. However everything looks like some sort of fantasy novel where some sort of evil wizard has frozen the realm.

@coleens_ Same. It's my least favorite packing material. Bulky, hard to get rid of, and doesn't break down over time. Oh and the little bits get everywhere

@bifrosty2k In the end everything worked great, the cold just cut my flight time in half. I'm tempted to make a cozy for my drone that I can slide a heater packet into.

Cancer finally got the better of TryCatchHCF. He was "a real mensch" as they'd say. A genuinely nice person with a big heart. Our community is poorer without him in it. Rest in peace, Joe.

@Name_Too_Long Yeah. I ended up flying for a bit, but you could pretty much watch the battery meter dropping down by the second. Got some nice shots. This thing is a really nifty bit of kit and I've barely explored the features on it.
