We got hit with an ice storm last night. The effects were pretty dramatic. You can see the direction the wind was blowing as one side of my house is encased in ice.
We're good, no frozen pipes, etc. However everything looks like some sort of fantasy novel where some sort of evil wizard has frozen the realm.
4 months ago we kicked off a remodel project to turn two smallish rooms into one master bedroom and the bathroom into an oasis.
Mind you we've only been in the house 6 months which means we've largely been living out of boxes. All of my hobbies have been packed away for a year now and it's been taking a toll on me. Super happy we can finally move in to our house and resume our life. Well, and look for work, after all the bullshit that happened earlier in the month.
