Reading words I wrote and wondering 'who was this genius who wrote this? cuz it wasn't me'.
This is the same story I couldn't stand and shelved over a year ago.
The 'View' story I was working on has... coalesced more in my brain.
I have some ideas. It could be finished and published someday. But, we're back on our bullshit.
And by 'our bullshit' I mean I'm working on the 'draft I dropped' because I didn't like the book.
I'm writing a better book from the bones of that one.
Not much needs to change, I just need to ADD more to the story. More to the world, more to the characters.
Realistically? that probably means about 40,000 words to finish it, but it's doable.
AND it ties it into the world of another book I wrote. The only one I fully finished in the last year or two.
So, yeah, I think we're back.

As I mentioned previously to some people here before, I've been dealing with an incident on my leg from a few weeks ago. I went to the doctor's office last friday, and the situation has become critical: the area is now turning black, and the medical team suspects possible necrosis due to poor reperfusion. To avoid a potential second surgery and the removal of another part of my leg, I urgently need to start a course of specialized, expensive antibiotics.
The harsh reality is that I am already bottle-necked financially with the costs of my normal treatment. I desperately need to raise approximately $180 USD by the end of this week, or I will be in a very difficult position.
