Of course two autocratic fascist leaders want to abolish a court that would see one—potential both—of them tried for crimes against humanity if it could only arrest them. And of course Netanyahu is claiming the ICC’s “antisemitic”, even though its establishment evolved partially from the Nuremberg trials that prosecuted Nazis for persecuting Jews 🙄

I hope for a day when Sápmi—the indigenous Sámi people’s land—is free from neocolonial natural resource exploitation.

I hope for a day when the Sámi receive an apology and reparations from the Finnish government for the ethnic cleansing they and their ancestors have faced, including forced displacement, forced assimilation, attacks on the languages and cultures, and desecration of cultural landscapes.
