I've finally found the perfect use for GitHub CoPilot: generating Cloudformation templates and converting them to CDK constructs. Who writes these monstrosities by hand?

@SaraSoueidan Click tracking is one of the various evils these companies practice. There are extensions like @eff's Privacy Badger to prevent this.

P.S. Unfortunately, this is not available on Safari, at least for now.

@vdvestelle btw, if you're looking for something like Sanderson, check out Robert Jackson Bennett's The Tainted Cup. It is quite fresh take on fantasy.

@vdvestelle I'd say Tress is more of a sideline project. It's overall feel is very different from regular Sanderson novels. Atleast that's what I felt when I attempted reading it.
@vdvestelle As a long time reader of Sanderson, even I was not able to pick up Tress. Give his Reckoners or Cytoverse series a try. They are pretty good. Although, the really good one is Cosmere which requires a lot of commitment since the books are very long.

Fun fact: the code which took Apollo 11 to the moon is available on github https://github.com/chrislgarry/Apollo-11/blob/master/Luminary099/LUNAR_LANDING_GUIDANCE_EQUATIONS.agc#L179

And if you look through it you'll see that - joyfully - it also includes original comments.

My absolute favourite thing about the Moon Code is that it includes comments like this: "TEMPORARY - I HOPE HOPE HOPE"

The progressive enhancement story of major #frontend frameworks is pretty dismal compared to platform APIs. I can gradually and progressively adopt the `fetch` API but I can't do that with `ChangeDetectionStrategy` in Angular 18. Currently migrating an app using one of these frontend frameworks and shaking my head in dismay.
@girlonthenet Well, you can always don a pair of headphones and pretend you are listening to something. Works well for me but yeah, it is a chore.
