@jon luggage racks at carriage ends really confuse me. On the one hand we're supposed to be super wary of anything that can happen to our luggage. On the other hand we're supposed to leave it in a rack that we may or may not have a good view of from a seat somewhere else in the carraige.
@jon I still want a way of telling DB I don't want a Bahncard subscription without having to write to someone every time I don't want an automatic renewal and waiting several weeks for them to cancel it
@SwiftOnSecurity I support one can't yet install windows directly into the human mind
@jon they never explain what the fault actually is though. Clearly it's still capable of moving, because they decide when to give up trying. What I don't understand is why whatever the particular technical failure is, is so difficult to put a proper sustainable repair in for.
@jon Did Aachen do Welkenraedt this week when the Frankfurt to Brussels ICE has some kind of technical difficulties which I'm sure they couldn't possibly have anticipated in advance and had to give up at Aachen. Was fun fitting a whole ICE of passengers on a two-carriage regional train.
@wjt I can consistently put payments through with the wrong address details. I assumed a lot of it now is more pattern-based than rules-based or something.
@jon Is it unique to Germany that there are so many police interventions in rail services? I’ve never encountered this in the UK, but maybe the information isn’t relayed to passengers in the same way
