For a moment I believed Apple has suspended its Twitter account. But it turned out Apple used paid tweets, which never show up on their timeline. Shootout to @Alrescha for pointing this out.

If other instances really start blocking mastodon.social, I fear it’s a huge step backward for Mastodon in general. We’re really just hitting a tipping point. Instances are overwhelmed and struggling to scale.
If this instance I’m on has bad moderators, okay, let’s figure that out. But silencing a universe at this nascent stage is, in a word, bonkers.
