@TomSwirly No, politicians aren't kids in a playground. Every country has the same issues to a greater or lesser extent and populist nationalism is rife. The EU certainly doesn't want a rogue state on its doorstep and, as countless EU politicians have intimated, the EU will of course negotiate entry to the SM, EEA or EU. We just need a leader to take us there

@TomSwirly @Pierrette @fencoul @sevignes @Aviva_Gary We have no idea what condition the UK could re-enter on. We just need to begin negotiations to find out - have that national debate. The alternative is a dying economy, increasing poverty and eventual stagnation. We certainly can't go on with that.

No, a rogue and collapsing UK trying to undercut the EU as a neighbour is the last thing the EU wants. As many EU politicians have asserted, the UK will be welcomed back. It's on us to make sure negotiations begin as soon as possible.

I tooted a few weeks ago that I loved #scotrail trains with a sense of humour (had found one idling at the station with the destination shown as "chillin'" ). Yesterday I spotted another wee example which gave me a giggle as I was waiting for the doors to open. Remember those areas in corridors that used to say "private"? Well now they say this! Keep it up Scotrail, this is a smart way to build a brand .
