Hey “Green” New Deal, how is it going?

  • a commuter train costs 10 PLN for a two-way ticket for a 2*40 km trip
  • a Hyundai i20 needs approx. 4L or less if you are careful, of gasoline per 100 km
  • one liter of 95-octane gasoline costs ~6,5PLN
  • which means there is virtually no fucking incentive to take a train beyond car maintenance costs and headaches and being able to do something else for those 30 minutes
    yea…
    Fuck the EU.

Stop using global variables
Things that aren’t function, macros or composite types were not supposed to clutter your namespace
Years of computer science yet no real-world use found for global variables beyond causing bugs
Wanted to use them anyway for a laugh? We had a tool for that: it’s called “functions”

A bus ticket costs now twice as much as a train ticket due to the outrageous power prices where I live. Even though a train actually has significantly less CO2 per passenger-kilometer than a bus even if 78% of power comes from coal.
