Indeed, one can not add arbitrary terms to the (A)GPL and claim that ones software is under that license. If an added term represents a "further restriction", anyone is allowed to remove that restriction.

(A)GPL licenses are made to preserve software freedom, not for actors to use them for open washing, claiming to be open yource while trying to take a way freedoms from users at the same time.

Has anybody been trying out #fluxer? if so, what are your thoughts? IMHO it has a lot of potential. The UX design of #discord but with #AGPL back end. If this turns out the way I hope, I may switch to it from #matrix as there the UX can be a bit clunky at best, and frustrating at other times. Fluxer might be the sweet middle ground

After recent news of violations of the Affero General Public License, version 3 (“AGPLv3”), SFC staff began a comprehensive AGPLv3 compliance investigation of both the userspace software and firmware on Bambu's devices.
