Lubbock.social has updated from Mastodon v4.4.3 to v4.4.4.
New in this release are settings related to quote posts, which you can find in your Preferences menu. This release also contains some bugfixes. For more info, see the Mastodon team's release notes here: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/releases/tag/v4.4.4
Quote posts will not become available to our server until v4.5. Here is an explanation on how they will work for users: https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/quote-posts/

Mastodon EngineeringWe just released Mastodon 4.4.4, 4.3.12, and 4.2.25.
These versions contain a few bugfixes, notably related to quote posts display in 4.4.

We just finished importing a massive list of almost 500 domain blocks. This will not disrupt any existing relationships.
All the instances blocked were from a unified list of very common blocks across the Fediverse - this list entirely consisted of instances frequently flagged for bigotry, hate speech, harassment, spam, porn, gore, CSAM, and pedophilia.
As always, please use the Report feature if you encounter any harmful content, harassment, or spam.
