Yesterday was my first real day after almost 8 weeks of Covid, infections and flu between November and January.

The end of 2022 was interesting to say the least, Christmas and New Year are a blur thanks to sickness; I suppose it makes a change from alcohol being the culprit!

I know I'm late to the party, but happy new year everyone, onwards and upwards towards a busy (and hopefully enjoyable) 2023!

When I was a kid, I wanted to be things like a dog, a dinosaur, a cloud!

Most of the time I played in mud, spread jam over my face and stuck Lego bricks up my nose.

I miss those days - I am still happy with mud and jam, but I’ll skip the the Lego bricks!

#AutoHotkey is a great tool I use to configure lots of different hotkeys to do various things.

Something I struggled with recently was configuring hotkeys to dynamically switch between 5 different keyboards; why? you might ask?

Anyway, it all works but I was curious if ChatGPT could solve it - well as good as it is, apparently not 😉

Guide – don’t micromanage!

Guide: show the way, advise others, influence outcome.
Micromanage: control excessively, obsess over details.

Give your teams a map and compass so they know where to go and how to get there.

You might even meet them at various checkpoints.

But do not walk every step with them – let them find their own way.
