You can generally skip the AppleID login during setup, and enter it in Settings after the onboarding/first boot stuff has completed, so you can get to other apps. Doesn’t apply if restoring from iCloud backup.
If you log into Gmail form an email client application on your computer, you can create local mailboxes, and manually move all your Gmail messages into those. Might lose some metadata, and it may take a lot of manual work depending on how full and how organized your Gmail is.
Had a clear sky here in #Boston, and penumbral phase was visible, but sunrise was too bright to see any of totality before the moon set behind the hills to my west. #LunarEclipse
You can also bundle the P1S with the new AMS 2 pro for some intermediate upgrades. I’ve been printing a ton of doodads and some functional things since getting one last month. Only issue I’ve had is with bed adhesion when I did a bad job cleaning it.

And, meant to mention, they have lists of vetted contractors
Check out https://www.bostonbuildingresources.com. They have workshops on how to DIY, resources for repairing or upgrading classic building materials, and good pricing on modern stuff if that’s what’s needed. Also lots of used material at the reuse center.

@nhl why are you posting months-old news?
@universalhub As a South #Boston resident who bikes everywhere I need to go, I can confirm that the #bike infrastructure in S. Boston is truly awful.
What little we have, like the horrendous unprotected bike "lane" on Dot Ave, is so poorly maintained that the lines of the lanes have disappeared or are on the way to doing so. As a result, sure enough, it's incredibly dangerous to ride around S. Boston!
I want to throttle every Boston politician who babbles on about "too much focus on bikes and/or bike lanes" and "we need more parking"... the roads are already beyond capacity w/ cars & trucks ya jackasses, allowing for more parking is just gonna make for even larger traffic jams! Put your damned focus on enabling Bostonians to safely get where they need to go *without* having to drive! e.g. bus/T/rail, walking, biking, scootering, etc. Every citizen safely getting to where they need to go without driving means less motor vehicle congestion on the roads for those who must drive!
