Linda@misc No, I can’t but I can tell you how I prepare for home improvements. I use an app called Nextdoor. It shows folks in my area talking about local contractors, lost dogs, upcoming events, etc. I keep a small notepad and when peeps talk about a good contractor, I write the name/phone number for future. takes 5 min a day to monitor site for info or ask a question. there are ads, tho. Still, I find it worthwhile. Your mileage will vary. Good luck!
Misha HillCheck out https://www.bostonbuildingresources.com. They have workshops on how to DIY, resources for repairing or upgrading classic building materials, and good pricing on modern stuff if that’s what’s needed. Also lots of used material at the reuse center.
