@farah There's a difference between bullying a kid into obedience and exercising parental authority. What I've learned from successful parents is to make sure you have a bond and real connection with the kid, then exercising parental authority and guiding the child is easier and doesn't feel like bullying.

I agree kids are far better off without binging on social media till certain age. After the age of 16 I would allow my kids to use social media. That way you're protecting their childhood and mental health.
