@JaxonEvans thanks so much for the detailed write up and the kind words dude!

→ Now playing indicator: coming!
→ Adding a now playing screen with full queue control (and a skip back button), just didn’t make the 1.0.
→ Filtering and search is coming! Tentatively 1.1 for filtering, search is likely 1.2.
→ Definitely been thinking about how much of a full featured replacement I want it to be. I have ideas around “collections” and maybe playlists fit, we’ll see.

@woolie well put and I couldn’t agree more. Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it!
@tekphloyd thanks so much!

@woolie I cut iPad support from 1.0 so I could really nail the UI for iPad, but I’m surprised it’s crashing. I’ll take a look, thanks for the report!

As for album shuffle, it’s on my roadmap, but I didn’t get it into v1.

@antygon not yet, but that is something I’d like to add (I scrobble my desktop listens)

I built an iOS app to browse and play albums from your Apple Music library and I think it’s finally ready to see the light of day. I have lots of fun plans for it and would love to get feedback from people outside my immediate circle. What’s working for you? What isn’t? Thanks for taking a look! 🎧

(If you can spare a boost, I’d really appreciate it! 🚀)

@reh I am *loving* the app dude. Really dig the retro aesthetic and the images + colors are all so good! Have snapped so many monochromatic photos of my dog that I love. Thanks for sharing via TestFlight, looking forward to supporting once it hits the App Store.
@davedelong I’m glad it’s no longer sitting lonely at home! (Also: still jealous)
Some days it hits me how lucky I am to get to work from here.

Software used to cost real money, because writing and maintaining it takes real work.

When I was getting on the internet, you could buy Netscape Navigator — a *web browser* — in a *box* at a *brick and mortar store* for FIFTY DOLLARS.

So unless you would honestly pay a one-time purchase of $50 for that app whose subscription model you hate, be happy! You are getting a bargain.
