@chockenberry I was wondering if you tried the dnd-sd flag which allows you to advertise *on behalf of* a service that doesn’t support Bonjour. Maybe with the static-ip, you could turn off Bonjour on the printer, but still advertise the printer and scanner’s service manually.

If you wanted to try it, look at the -R flag on the man page.

Sorry you are having this problem.

This is a new one. Don't know what went wrong here, but it stayed like this until I rotated my phone and rotated it back.

People absolutely should watch any one of the 3 BBC documentaries about this extraordinarily kind man before they jump to judgement and pile on him. He’d have no problems apologizing for that particular tic. He hates ticcing and it’s made his life very difficult (the subject of the documentaries). He provides support for others who feel outcast and isolated by their tourette’s.

I also think were he to do so publicly, it would be very valuable for them to also acknowledge and embrace his tics.

Hi @Netflix could you please put on YouTube, the Black Mirror episode called “Men Against Fire” so everyone can see it? It seems so very relevant to this moment in history.
I think what we all should be yelling at ICE is simply “You should quit! This shit is not worth it!” Remind them that they can opt out. I think mocking them makes them hate us more and turns them more violent. This, as well as “Get the fuck out!”.
@marioguzman It is frustrating that over time, what used to be a very clear area to drag windows has slowly eroded away to the point where finding a drag area is a bit like finding a truffle in the woods.

@simonbs I get aesthetically why it looks cool. One drawback for me, is that I have trouble understanding the buttons because of the bleed-through and because the buttons and the text below are both white on black. It adds some mental friction. For me to understand it, I have to scroll thr text up and down so I can see what *doesn’t* move and better focus on that. Kinda takes me out of my flow.

I get that this concept really fits in with the aesthetic of Tahoe.

@metin It is funny!
@metin I think you are well-intended, but I don't think this is good advice, mainly because it's steering people away from actual social interactions, which in the long-term, are going to be much more helpful. I'd advise hanging out with a friend doing your favorite thing instead.
