As an introvert , it is amazing the things I am told to do, to become visible to get promoted. Folks have good intent when they share this with me, but it speaks volumes for what counts at times to grow.
Watched a bit of the House speaker voting reality TV show. Why the hell do we not have tech in the House to take an electronic vote in seconds! This ceremony of calling out 435 names (434 for today) is kind-of ridiculous and fun at the same time.

Mastodon gets un-suspended and then goes for the posterizing dunk right out of the gate #tech #socialmedia
Nice one Techmeme!
Legacy modernization projects are really hard, fraught with long development cycles as we modernize a running train, and folks need to go in with better expectations than - "build it like it is today in prod" !

I wish the title was "#Tesla performs an OTA update to fix a tail light issue" vs. the old fashioned "recall" word that often does not apply to a Tesla.

Tesla recalls 321K cars for tail light issue; 19th recall this year for automaker https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla-recalls-321-k-cars-for-tail-light-issue-19th-recall-this-year-for-automaker-154928263.html

Mono's Journey from monolith to microservices - {"title": "Mathew's Tech Notes..."}

Once upon a time there lived a monolith application named Mono (creative ah!). Mono was born into this world as a proof of concept (POC). He was never meant to live beyond a few days. His Creators (developers) showed off the POC to the OverLords (senior management) and gave the OverLords a sense of what […]
