@omnipotens I got a problem with this instance. When I send a post on this instance it’ll appear on the other instances instantly, but this instance doesn’t receive posts until an hour later. I’ve done an experiment with an alt earlier and these were the results I got. Also following accounts from remote instances takes time because of this. Can you please look into this?

I was already not a fan of Kiwifarms before the Keffals thing with the shit they have pulled with other people. You're going to have to do better to convince me they are in the right here.

@codythedragonrude So I found the screenshot that was circulating Since I hate even going on KF (cesspit is too charitable a name for that place) I will not be linking anything there. The account that posted the threats in question seems to have had all content from that point onward deleted, including the posts in question. However, the posts from that account from before that time *do* exist.

For the record, this image itself is from the thread on KF, with the comment "Can't even comment on poutine if you don't have the right opinion nowadays."

I'm going to go clean my browser of all record of having been there. I don't even like the thought of it being next to other items in my history. It's just groty.

@codythedragonrude It was a screenshot from KF itself. I'll have to dig around and find it. Just to be sure, I will double check the context on KF, because even though I do *not* like that cesspit I'm going to be thorough with my digging.

Give me 24 hours. I have a lot of other crap to do in my life.

@codythedragonrude I've spoken to a lot of trans people, and I have not gotten that impression...at all.

I know nothing about Keffals as a person, but even if she were bad or crazy, it's wrong to generalize that to trans people in general.

As for Kiwi Farms, my understanding is that Cloudflare dropped them because after the initial decision on Cloudflare's part to keep them, the denizens of that site got high on a sense of invincibility to the point where they were openly plotting to plant bombs in Northern Ireland.

Centralized Internet services being chokepoints is a concern; but Kiwi Farms is probably the worst model to point at for this. If you really want to point at Cloudflare and others for something, look at what happened to Switter.
