Couple of weeks back I gave myself a birthday present and went to Tallinn, Estonia. I visited one of my favorite breweries Põhjala and had a tour through their facilities. It's been a blast. Here's a pic of their brewing system. Isn't it beautiful ❤️

Have an Altbier in primary right now. Glad that the fermentation kicked off. Lost a bit more liquid in the boil then anticipated leading to an OG of 12.6°P. Most importantly I'm happy that I found the time for #homebrewing again. It's been a while.

Today I finished #Distraint2. Thank you @[email protected] for this exceptional game. It felt a lot like going through therapy. It hasn't really happened before to me that I had tears in my eyes while playing a videogame. But this... This did something to me. A game I can highly recommend. A short (~2,5 hours) emotional horror game (is that a thing?) that is very touching, sad and freeing at the same time.

Nice #vinyl haul from the flea market today. Haven't been crate digging in a while. It felt really good.

Been to #viljabeerfest in Tampere today. A beer festival were the average brewer had as many tattoos as the amount of NEIPAs that were offered (a lot). A festival so full of cliches that it was uncomfortable to be there. Not a single traditional British IPA or even a West Coast IPA... There are too few really good beer related festivals out there and I wonder why, because there certainly isn't a lack of good breweries in Finland.

I've been a bit on the fence lately. Should I stay or should I go? I'm glad to have a job in IT. I've been with the company for 5 years and they are doing a lot to keep their folks satisfied (sending me to #dreamforce ). But at the same time I'm exhausted in the evenings. I have difficulties to get out of bed in the mornings and I feel like a lot of joy has left my live. Is it worth jumping in the cold water a d going somewhere else? Or is it the same everywhere?

Yesterday I finished #VampireSurvivors to 100% and I am still baffled by how much I enjoyed it. Usually, bullet hell #videogames are not for me. I also usually stick with story driven games. But this gem was so we'll designed and balanced that I had a blast. Will surely pick it up also in the future. Great game!

Had a fantastic week at Bock's Corner Brewery in Vaasa, Finland and brewed a 1,000 L batch of Oktoberfest beer with the extremely talented Alex and Bruno. Thanks to those guys for their patience and for showing me what's it like working in a brewery.

Traveled to Vaasa on the west coast of Finland and enjoying some local beer from Wasa Brewing Company.
Tomorrow I'll start another adventure here which is a 3-day internship at Bock's Corner Brewery.
