@jon Extra 10 min stop at Forbach on my TGV 9509 tonight (11 Aug) so that German border police can check passports between there and Saarbrücken. It's as if Schengen didn't exist.

I'm pleased to learn that all DB rolling stock on the Amsterdam-Brussels-Cologne-Frankfurt routes has been upgraded to Siemens Velaro DB Class 408 ICE 3neo. This should significantly improve reliability.
