Digital asset management...so many headaches. iViewMedia was great until Microsoft bought it and killed it. Apple's Aperture was OK until they killed it. Apple's Photos is terrible and unreliable. Never use anything from Adobe!
Now I use @digikam and it is great. Amazingly full-featured - everything I need and more. Sure, I have interface suggestions, but for the first time in a long time I feel in control of my photos and videos. Thanks to everyone who works on it.

A good suggestion. I haven't tried Friendica yet. I looked at it and it seems that hardly anyone is using it. The largest server (friendica.world) had only around 1400 users. Would be great if it took off.
