@krusynth Hey there, I know this is a little out of the blue but with all the craziness going on I've wanted to get more involved in local government. I have an idea I've been kicking around about applying design to social issues, but I wasn't sure if something similar already existed or if there's related work in the area. I've been off Mastodon for a while, but I always appreciated your work promoting design in government and I was wondering if I could run my idea by you and get your thoughts?
Not sure if I know anyone on here into old pinball machines, but there's a rad KISS table for sale at the Oakland White Elephant Sale
On a related note, I'm really wanting a Molly of Denali/True Detective crossover #truedetective #nightcountry
It's especially cool because it's all about teaching programming concepts like if/then logic and recursion (the name Lyla in the "Loop" is very cute)
As a parent, I've come to discover that each PBS Kids show has like 8 episodes total, so feeling thankful for their new show, Lyla in the Loop https://pbskids.org/lyla
Lyla in the Loop | PBS KIDS | Home

LYLA IN THE LOOP is a funny and engaging new animated series for kids ages 4-8 about Lyla Loops and her fantastical blue sidekick, Stu, who use creative and strategic problem-solving and critical thinking skills to help their family, friends, and community! From building homemade carnival games to creating a new sandwich for the family restaurant– Lyla, Stu, and the whole Loops crew tackle challenges with equal servings of humor and heart.

I ended up doing a double feature of Barbie and Barbarian today, and the two have a surprising amount of thematic overlap
Is having to get both feet inbounds the best part of football? I'm pretty sure it is

A practice piece I drew a week ago. Not sure if I'm happy with the dithering.

I've been using #Unity3D for 10 years and this has always bugged me, but I never knew the cause until now. Adding some sort of zoom indicator could help make things clearer (I think this would also help with the weird way orthographic views clip things)

Ever wonder why using the scroll wheel to zoom in #Unity3D slows down and eventually seems to stop working?

Unity has an invisible "pivot point" that moves as you fly around the scene view. Using the scroll wheel moves the camera towards/away from the pivot point, and as you get closer your speed slows down so your distance never reaches 0 (zooming with Alt+RMB does the same thing but lets you overshoot it). Focusing on an object with Shift+F sets the pivot to the object's position. #GameDev
