And then I remembered #thomasligotti and his CATHR (used in #TrueDetective season 1). Will any number of NIPs or my imaginary cultural refactors change our species basic nature? Probably not. We aren't much more complicated than NIP-01, although we like to add NIPs, go to conferences and do many beautiful flourishes. Is my current mission one big fallacy of sunk costs? Yesterday I just f#!€ed my #TrueDetective S3 experience, by watching the first three episodes, then the last two, skipping episodes 4-6. The dvds were not in order and because S3 plays a lot with different timelines, I didn't even notice until it was too late 😅
