@_inside @stroughtonsmith You didn’t ask me of course, but I find going tthrough a “planning” phase without having the agent write any code, refining the “plan” and then telling it to execute the “plan” only when I think the plan is “good enough” gets you really far
@atpfm this video came across my feed, thought you guys would find it interesting - UX designer from Apple giving a talk about desktop UX https://youtu.be/1fZTOjd_bOQ?si=Ngb6YondI8Z9xKeR

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I’ve been made redundant at my job. If you want to hire an excellent Apple platforms developer (iOS, etc.) with 17 years of experience, time at Apple, and lots of SwiftUI experience, or a great Ruby on Rails developer, reach out.

Full-time or freelance. Ready to go immediately. Please spread the word. #Swift #RubyOnRails #GetFediHired

@atpfm For every reason you all described in the section about the new ATP logo - can we please have that as the show art for the bootleg 🥺

@atpfm I’m a bootleg listener so maybe this was cut from the show (didn’t see a link in the show notes), but Incase seems to have the sculpt ergonomic keyboard that I remember - maybe Marco was looking at the wrong model? Has the negative tilt, full-height arrow keys, etc.

This is the model that I think Marco was looking at during the show: https://www.incase.com/products/compact-ergonomic-keyboard

I prefer the calendar integration for one very important reason - my wife could care less about these apps, but we do share a calendar. If movie release dates sync with a calendar we share, everything is perfect. If I’m just reliant on an app to get a notification, then it’s basically on me to keep track of movies that are coming up, which stinks (2/2)
@atpfm
@caseyliss I come to you, hat in hand, to ask that instead of creating a backend server to handle upcoming move release dates, just make it so that it integrates with the Calendar. I’ll literally pay extra for that - the only app that does that now from what I can tell is Cinema Time, and it rarely gets updated, and it works consistently in my experience. (1/2)
@hotdogsladies I almost yelped when this came in - did you see that Every Frame A Painting dropped a new video last week? https://youtu.be/mn2Dcy-NDTw?si=QEp216ue67v9k1Cj

My dudes, Telegram is not an e2e messaging app like Signal or WhatsApp. Telegram is more like Twitter. It is a social media app that is mostly public content that also happens to have DMs, where you can turn on e2e messaging with questionable cryptography that most people never even bother to use.
