If you know of Dr. Neversneezer Scrooge and how sneezing is not normal, we should be friends.

And IF YOU DON'T know about Dr. Neversneezer Scrooge, boy will it blow your mind when you find out. 🤧

Someone Forgot to Talk to the Moss - Lyteforce Writes

As a child, I recall going on walks with my Papa along the trails of the Pacific Spirit Park. It doesn't occur to me that he was a man of many words on those...

hi lovely #photography nerds 👋

what are y’all using for your photography #blogging / websites?

I’m about to put together a site for my wife’s photo blogging & I’m looking to see if there are any viable alternatives to Wordpress 🤞

needs to have / be:

– self-hostable

– a way to draft blog posts / articles that’s suitable for a non-computer-toucher (WYSIWIG preferred, but this doesn’t have to live on the web server)

– ability to review drafts & publish them (make them live on the site)

– good photo / media management tools

– ability to create galleries of photos

– anything else you consider essential that I haven’t listed 🙃

nice to have:

– some sort of theming capability

– ability to create galleries based on tags or other categorisation

– import a subset of EXIF data & expose it in various ways e.g. image captions, group into galleries, etc.

– ability to generate a static site that doesn’t rely on any external links (no Bootstrap JS, no Google fonts, etc.)

– anything else useful that I haven’t thought of 🙃

pls #boost4reach 🙏

Over the past few days I’ve been meandering through the #indieweb, #smallweb, and #fediverse scenes… which are the same. Or different. Still figuring that out.

But in that note, so many gems on Bubbles if you haven’t discovered it yet. https://bubbles.town

While I shared a few additional thoughts (https://lyteforcewrites.fyi/re-dont-be-afraid-to-comment), @sylvia is bang on - I shouldn't be afraid to comment.

So mark today as day one of a new habit - instead of liking, I (too) try to reply to at least 3 posts here on Mastodon every day. 😀

Yesterday, Sylvia shared a few thoughts stemming from her post shared on Mastodon: I'm building a new habit here on Mastodon: instead of liking, I try to...

Hot damn! I'm down just over 12 kg since February! Or for those of you who are pounds inclined, close to 27 lbs! I'm eating better, following a doctor suggested intermittent fast, and getting out for twice-daily walks.

Most important though... I'm feeling pretty darn good overall. #health #fitness

Oof… that didn’t work well. Guess it’s time to clean up the @echofeed post criteria.

That's right.

I am a walker. Or at least that's what I keep reminding myself.

So I am a walker.

Wait. I read the book and know I should make clear my intentions so that is obvious.

I will **GO FOR A WALK** in the **MORNING** around the **NEIGHBOURHOOD** after **I WAKE UP MY DAUGHTER FOR SCHOOL** and **GO FOR A SECOND WALK** in the **EVENING** after I **FINISH DINNER**.

There we go.

If you've made it to this point, I imagine some of you would look at this goal o https://lyteforcewrites.fyi/i-am-a-walker
