@KM7CDC Didn't hear of anyone using DMR in simplex in SP unfortunately. Folks are mostly working the local repeaters and hotspots.

@df5go Being honest - even tho our org does APRS I've grown into the same mindset as you. You can try APRS messaging and see how you like it c: There's a NET called APRS Thursday -> https://aprsph.net/aprsthursday that you can try and call into with messages for example c:
