New Threads app from Instagram, exciting! What a privacy label though
I really want to try it out, and hope it brings a ton of folks into the conversations on Mastodon
But using the Threads app for any length of time will most certainly build an eerily accurate profile of your emotional state, wants and needs, living conditions, pets’ birthdays, and so on in whatever monster of an ML-ad-machine Meta runs
Wonder if they will let third-party Mastodon apps connect to their instance?

It's cutting back on the reach and engagement that advertisers want on social media.
