I can no longer sit back and allow

So once again for those sitting in the back row

EVERY cycle for incumbent President, his approval ratings are BELOW 50% (check the numbers, EVERY one)

The NORMAL for an incumbent is 37% approval. Obama was at 40%. Clinton at 37%. Reagan was at 35%. They all were re-elected - Reagan by landslide

“Every map is the same”...except when it’s not. Segregation and inequality are so pervasive at every scale that they sometimes show up in ways that break the patterns we’re used to seeing.: https://ggwash.org/view/96313/not-every-map-is-the-same-actually
Not every map is the same, actually

Inequity is spatial. DC’s geography reflects inequities that have been built into it over the course of generations, but sometimes those patterns defy our expectations.

The conservative member of a school board in California faced a recall election yesterday over the board's anti-LGBT policies.

No final call yet, but the "YES" to the recall is leading (=he'd be ousted).

The surveillance in Georgia has included following people in cars, blasting sirens outside bedroom windows and shining headlights into houses at night, the Guardian has learned."

Google translate between Icelandic and English has gone from 75% useful, 25% laughable nonsense to mostly unusable in the space of a year. You used to be able to use it effectively as a dictionary. Enter a single word and you'd get the most common dictionary translation

Now, half the time you'll just get nonsense.

You wont believe the number of stormtroopers theyre deploying against unarmed students unless you see it. This is just one side: at least 7 police departments with at least two layers at every point of egress, with several layers in back for rear control and rotation. They've got the army out against your kids for having the audacity to do whatever they can to stop a genocide

A few brave Singaporeans unfurled this banner in front of the iconic Marina Bay Sands, in a country where any public protest is illegal without prior approval and approved protests are only allowed at one park (and the authorities already said all registered protest applications relating to Gaza will be denied)

If they were foreigners they would almost certainly be deported. As citizens they’ll definitely see some legal action
