The answer to "why won't my downloads work" is always, inevitably, "you've somehow filled the massive drive you spent too much on", but that doesn't mean I won't spend half an hour troubleshooting before figuring this out.

Over the next 10 years there's gonna be a bunch of studies that basically boil down to "people fell for #AI because they like positive reinforcement, which works, and they weren't getting it elsewhere in their lives."

An AI replying "good observation" can be a poor substitute for an absent father.

If you sell users on automatic updates to keep their devices secure, and then use those automatic updates to push #AI to their devices without their consent, you are, de facto, a malware provider, and you should be treated as such, with users actively encouraged to circumvent your software for their own safety and security.
