I'm not only a dad, developer and nerd, but also a huge metal fan of the extreme subgenres (what other people witness as noise soothes me and kind of gives energy and makes me calm :D).

Normally large masses are depleting my social battery in a day, but on europython it took from Monday to Friday. Not 100% sure why and I think common interest might only have played a part in it.
Long text to say: I kind of already start to miss this kind of conference :D. It is just far less exhausting and more rewarding to speak with so many awesome and also interesting (for me) people of various fields and trades :)

For the past many years I've been helping encourage kids in to #coding at #Abingdon #library in #oxfordshire starting them off with #Scratch and moving them onto #python or other languages.
This is one morning a week on Saturday mornings.
Due to personal reasons I no longer have the time that the kids really need devoted to this.
If anyone would be interested in taking this on that would be wonderful.
