@locustangerine yes! I run https://solarcene.community which is a fully solar powered mastodon instance, it runs of a small system so has aggressive power saving to the point that it will regularly shutdown to save power, so you'll social media will be limited. You can monitor it's schedule with @solar_bot

It's really an experiment but there are users that use it as their sole instance. I've actually not yet reached that point but have an account there @solaradmin
