My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

The UN just issued a 94-page detailed report documenting that the Israeli government committed genocide by deliberately targeting Palestinian children—killing more than 20,000.

You won’t see corporate media cover it. You won’t see politicians who voted to fund Netanyahu be asked about it. You won’t see AIPAC be questioned about it. Silence to this atrocity is complicity with this atrocity. Stop listening to any journalist, and vote out every politician, silent on this genocide. Enough.

Purple martins are really neat birds (especially when your bird biologist friend builds you a house that makes it easy to check in on them).

Check out this super cute tidy nest they built! They pick aspen leaves, using the leaves to regulate moisture for the incubating eggs. Look how perfectly they layered the leaves! Evolution is SO COOL.
