Dear #ProjectManager for social or food websites: if you force your developers to muck with the history so the back button doesn't actually go back, but to the same page again, i don't think “oh, weird, i better buy something”. I think, “oh weird, this brand is trying to scam me” or “they're trying to keep me on the site against my will”.
please stop.
