I have a #twitter account for church, so I’m occasionally still taking a peek Anglican twitter. It’s horrible. I mean it’s REALLY horrible. I don’t understand why people still use it and it makes me sad that Christians talk about each other in that way in a public space. I think there’s something about that other website that snares people into behaving in a certain way, and believing that a particular king of discourse is acceptable. So glad for #Mastodon.

Northumbrian StoriesHigh on the moors above Bewick in #Northumberland is the Cateran Hole. Steps descend into the dark tunnel, which is said to lead underground to the fairy stronghold of the Henhole, far into the hills.
When some men of Old Bewick decided to test it, they only got as far as the Hurl Stone, where fairy singing sent them fleeing back in a panic.
Today the tunnel is blocked by fallen rocks.
