I've not been here all that long, but this sort of sums up my personal Mastodon experience so far, compared to that in another place. I suspect I will make more of these as time passes. Thanks to all I've met and interacted with here, in any capacity.

High on the moors above Bewick in #Northumberland is the Cateran Hole. Steps descend into the dark tunnel, which is said to lead underground to the fairy stronghold of the Henhole, far into the hills.
When some men of Old Bewick decided to test it, they only got as far as the Hurl Stone, where fairy singing sent them fleeing back in a panic.
Today the tunnel is blocked by fallen rocks.
