@mttaggart there was a good episode of the podcast #SearchEngine where they basically talk about how energy grid expansion has been entirely predictable and steady for decades up until the onset of AI and at that distinct point in time did it explode.
Even with all the cloud services/streaming services that pro-AI hand-wavers love to cite, the demand had a clear linear trajectory.
AI changed that 100%.
