Doom metal dyke, shitty hacker, league bowler, magician, cat mom, and Chevy enthusiast. Your favorite problematic, ontologically evil bitch :p
Mentally ill?Yep.
Weird and spooky?Totally.
Cool as fuck?You betcha!
thinking back to when I went to a game development summer camp when I was like 14ish... not only did my team make the best game (an Advance Wars-themed Metal Slug clone) but also I wrote a fork bomb in the GameMaker scripting language that restarted on boot and was really hard to delete... and created a bunch of dialog boxes mocking the user while playing the Final Fantasy 3 boss music lol
and my Python still sucks as bad as it did in 2004 too :p
I'm officially a real hacker now, girls - I have a Thinkpad again for the first time since my old IBM one in like 2004 or whenever lol

Hey y'all! This is a tech job thread! I know this is a tough market, and I want to create visibility for people so that they can get help finding jobs. If you're hiring, let me know!

*ESPECIALLY* for

- Entry level (especially for people with no prior work experience)
- Underrepresented folks
- Nontraditional backgrounds
- Companies with an ethical mission

Please boost! It means a lot  ❤️

(+ copy the hashtags so people can find you)

#jobs #jobsearch #fedihire #techishiring

as opposed to the popular strategy, "scream at her and try to ruin her life" :/

so I have this cool technique that I use when I see a trans gal having a bad mental health day and posting stuff that's a little iffy or bizarre.

it's called "ignore it and move on". fuckin' try it sometime, it works wonderfully.

PLEASE SHARE ESP TO UNDERREPRESENTED WOMEN LOOKING FOR INFOSEC JOBS: We at Red Queen Dynamics are proud to bring you the Infosec.Exchange State Of The Instance webinar on August 3rd at 11AM Pacific.

Join me, @jerry, Mari Galloway, and Talya Parker to talk about opportunities for underrepresented women in cybersecurity startups after the Twittersplosion removed all our weak social ties. How do we find job postings now that we've all gone to different places? There will be some *very frank opinions* shared.

Get jobs! Talk to Jerry about how I.E. is working to increase the voice of underrepresented women on this platform! Learn from Mari and @TalyaParker about how best to reach to communities respectfully to provide job postings!

I'm not joking, btw. DM me if you wanna know more about my ideas on this. I'm thinking it would be better to discuss the particulars through a more secure medium.
I'm so tired of how miserably transfems get treated by everyone, everywhere. I wanna start some kind of tr*nny mafia or something where we look out for the girls and back each other up (explicitly making sure that we address the needs of TWOC and disabled trans women, since those groups are sometimes neglected) all the time, everywhere, by any means necessary. I want people to be scared to fuck with us, I want us to have food and housing, I want us to have healthcare - we *fucking* protect us!
It's actively disgusting how many excuses people will just make the fuck up to justify hate mobbing a trans girl they don't like
