#AmReading #Fantasy listening, actually, but enjoying "Witch King" by #MarthaWells a lot so far. Has some of the same vibes as #TheGoblinEmperor including a large cast with complicated names plus dropping the reader in the middle, but flashbacks fill things out.

#AmReading the excellent "A House With Good Bones" by #TKingfisher. A smart and skeptical archaeologist/entomologist keeps noticing weird things about her mother and their family home and reacting like anyone would under those circumstances - making it all the scarier.🫣 #horror is usually to much for me but I love her writing, so...

Read/listened to a fun murder #Mystery (ish) that was more of a "how will they do it" where the protagonist is planning to do bad things and you're rooting for them. Reminds me a little of #Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots in that respect.🤓 "Murder Your Employer" by Rupert Holmes.
