I recently discovered an online game hosted by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Each day there's a set of 10 objects with anywhere from 1 to 10 photos and you're asked to identify the place from which they come & their approximate age on a timeline, with up to 5,000 points each for location & date. If you guess the opposite side of the world you might get 2 points out of 5k (as I did today) but despite my ignorance I usually total 60k-70k. You might enjoy it! https://anthropeum.com/.

A 1680s book i apparently bought for $60 years ago... about horrid people like atheists, popes, apostates, tyrants, sailors and more. Here, a pope makes a king stand barefoot in the snow for 3 days, along with his wife and son. In the end the pope’s mistress interceded.

Add to the "things I will do when finally elected Galactic Emperor" list: insist that all king size sheets have a bloody great big yellow arrow painted on them so I don't accidentally line up the short side with the long side and spend five minutes trying to work out why it's so difficult to put the sheet on
