AngharadHafod9:00 am, and I'm supposed to be working now. But for the first time in my life I'm on strike. It feels really weird. But when you should be earning around 24% more than you actually are (based on 2010 pay), have had real terms pay cuts every single year for the last 12 years, and your pension benefits slashed, you get to a point where you have to think whether it's actually worth working for the money.

Monte CookFor a long time, when I'd read a comic with Lex Luthor in it, and he'd be... I dunno, conspiring with a guy who's super power is that he is mediocre at riddles, and maybe Solomon Grundy or someone like that, in order to launch their army of poison turtles into Metropolis, I'd scoff and say, "it's unrealistic that the world's richest man would waste his time and money on something that's only going to showcase to the world how incompetent he is."
