Working as a librarian. Current hobbies: Computers and computer programming. Jogging very slowly. Learning Spanish, also very slowly.

he/him

@mathew the subject of Linux distributions came up yesterday (I think) with my colleagues and I mentioned Gentoo and how long it used to take to compile everything on my old slow thrift-shop computer
@sanguish thank you
@sanguish what was it?
@EmpyClaw I see you’ve already answered these questions.
@EmpyClaw is it a raw potato, or cooked in some way? If it’s cooked, am I permitted to remove the potato from the changing room before eating it? If it’s cooked and I can remove it from the changing room, I’d be a “maybe” leaning toward “yes”. Otherwise, probably not.
@dimsumthinking it looks delicious
@dimsumthinking ridiculous question, perhaps, but are those hollow-ish? I think I’ve only seen pita in pockets, waiting to be filled with other food, or very flat, for use with hummus.
@dimsumthinking I know it wasn’t the point, but I love the thermostat story. I can imagine myself doing something similar. And also being embarrassed; my own brother is so handy at fixing things!

We found so much to include that the book ended up a full third longer than I had originally planned. It took years longer than I originally expected. But it was a labor of love, a passion project, something we made because we wanted to make something beautiful and inspiring. I can hardly believe it’s finally finished. I hope you will love it too.

@blogdiva my Spanish isn’t very good, but I think that’s right. Sometimes we pronounce it like “key”, and sometimes we even spell it that way, too. (Florida Keys)
