The tones constantly shift and change duration. And that is with perfectly generated computer sending. Doesn't matter how much effort I put into it. I can't decode Morse. It's neurological, not lack of interest.

@DragonBard @allianceradio The struggle is real. And demoralizing. It took over a decade before my wife finally believed that I wasn't deliberately being a wang every time I'd ask her to repeat. Certain tones and cadences are worse than others. Yet music (including commonly misheard lyrics) has never been a struggle, odd.

@MikeFromLFE @DragonBard @allianceradio Depends on where you are at I guess? 2m and 440 in my area (mid-NH\ME) is very active, especially for low population states. The only thing lacking is sufficient Winlink RMS coverage - packet or VARA - for 2m. Linking to DMR, Allstar, YSF, and Echolink is a bonus.
@DragonBard @allianceradio Agreed. We wear our trauma and indifference as some sort of twisted badge of honor instead of recognizing it for what it is: apathy to the human condition.
@marz @allianceradio I've tried crocheting, just cannot pull it off. I can knit like a toddler on crack... with the expected results. I probably should stick to breaking stuff instead of creating stuff, that's my super power :D

@N3VEM The struggle is real. I'm not color blind but my son is. The traffic light type. Realized it when he was about 6 and I replaced my green F-150 with a red Ram 2500 and he said "cool dad, your new truck same color as your old one, I like it."
